Triangle Residential Options for Substance Abusers (TROSA) is a comprehensive, long-term, residential substance abuse recovery program located in Durham, North Carolina. The position of Master’s level Qualified Substance Abuse Professional is designed to provide assessment, diagnostic, and treatment (individual and group) services to homeless individuals with a substance use disorder.

Job Description: Position is responsible for the effective management of agency Prevention programming, including planning, organizing, and directing all functions and program staff. Duties include development and administration of policy and procedure; program and financial management; establishment of goals and objectives, establishing and maintaining effective relationships and coordination with staff and community resources; recruitment, orientation/training, supervision and evaluation of all program staff. Position reports to the Executive Director and serves on the ARP Management Team.

Minimum education and experience: Bachelors Degree in the Human Services field with a minimum of five (5) years relevant experience in the effective delivery of community-based prevention services, including three (3) years administrative experience. Certification by the NC Substance Abuse Professional Practice Board as a CSAPC. Masters Degree and additional Certifications (CCS, LCAS) preferred.

•Function as the treatment liaison for court staffing and client concerns,
•Facilitate all treatment modalities for client, including individual and group counseling, and
•Represent treatment facility in all required trainings and conferences for adjudicated clients.

• Masters degree in a Human Service field and two years of relevant experience and Licensure: LCAS, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or CCS.
• Experience with dual diagnosis addictions and/or substance dependence/abuse.
• Ability to speak Spanish a plus.
